SAOR (SCO)
Hailing from Scotland and formed in 2013, Saor is a pioneering Caledonian metal band known for their captivating fusion of melodic atmospheric black metal intensity and Scottish/Celtic folk elements. Led by visionary Andy Marshall, Saor’s music paints vivid sonic landscapes that evoke the beauty of nature and the soul of Scotland. IN THE WOODS… (NOR)
Formed in late 1991 in Kristiansand, Norway by members of the original line-up of GREEN CARNATION whom they are a continuation of.
Around 1994-1995, IN THE WOODS… were one of the first bands to use the name “Pagan Metal” as a description for their style, although they didn’t use the elements typified by the sub-genre until later on (like traditional instruments).
The band disbanded in 2000 and reformed in 2014.
IMPERIUM DEKADENZ (GER)
Imperium Dekadenz was founded in the late summer of 2004 by Horaz and Vespasian. Generally the music style is described as atmospheric Black Metal, while also depressive, ambient and acoustic elements are a part of the compositions. The Norwegian bands of the Second Wave of Black Metal in the 90ies are the most influencing actors, as the band describes their roots..
CÂN BARDD (SUI)
Cân Bardd was founded in the end of 2016 by Malo Civelli as a one-man band, later on Dylan Watson joined him on drums. The band mixes atmospheric and epic melodies with strong Black Metal sections.
